Following the launch of our inaugural size? location in Toronto last year, we are proud to announce that our second Canadian storefront is now open in Vancouver!

This past weekend — on July 30th to be exact — we opened the doors to our new size? Vancouver and we’d like to welcome everybody inside to experience the shop.

Not only is size? Vancouver our latest location in Canada, but it’s also a historic moment for size? in general. Our original stores first opened in London, Manchester, and Brighton before venturing out to other cities across Europe, so it’s especially amazing to see size? find a new home here in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Vancouver is widely known for its serene landscapes made up of coastal beaches and woodland mountain ranges, plus the city encompasses the link between BC’s diverse environment and the industrialism that allows us to explore it.

The shop gives our community an enclosed visual of this bond, meticulously utilizing features found throughout Vancouver’s surroundings to present a unique look and feel. Most notably, this city-meets-nature aesthetic is informed by man-made objects (skywalks, bridges, and walkways) which allow you to access the wilderness from the metropolis.

This harmony is brought to life inside size? Vancouver, where the interior provides an overwhelming sense of scale pulled from these elements. Within, our community will discover cabled shelving inspired by the famous Lions Gate and Capilano Suspension Bridges, while exposed timber contrasts with concrete and tile walkways which offer an understated, natural, and urban aesthetic to the store. Large LED screens also showcase lush landscapes high above the shop floor to deliver an in-store experience that’s as beautiful as the outdoors.
